Mission
Our mission is to promote Dyslexia awareness and advocacy for African American students in Black communities, with the aim of ensuring that every African American student with Dyslexia receives the support and accommodations they need to succeed. We recognize that African American students with Dyslexia face unique challenges due to systemic racism, a lack of access to resources, and cultural biases that can affect diagnosis and treatment.
